House To Seven-Bed En-Suite HMO

The conversion of a mid-terrace house in Eastleigh into a seven-bedroom en-suite HMO, completed in March 2025.

The ground floor is built around a navy shaker kitchen running the full depth of the house, with brass handles, stone worktops, integrated ovens and built-in laundry, opening into a rooflit dining area. Navy panelling runs from dado height through the dining room and up the staircase, tying the circulation spaces into the same scheme. The en suites are tiled floor to ceiling in white marble with backlit round mirrors.

HMO Designers, part of Thistle Group, designed the conversion and the interior scheme. On a mid-terrace plot the rear was treated as essential rather than leftover space, with a walled courtyard, paved terrace and planting beds so a high-occupancy house doesn't feel closed in.

The project is complete, delivering seven en-suite rooms with shared spaces that work as properly as the bedrooms.
